Edmonton, Alberta (Canada): The Fight Club (TFC) announced recently that its July 17th show has been postponed until September. This is due to some internal restructuring which is in process at this time.

In regards to the company changes, TFC Owner Mark Sinclair says, “We’re disappointed TFC 11 had to be postponed, but the internal changes are being finalized now, and we will have an announcement soon regarding the restructuring and the upcoming September show. We’re excited about the direction of the company, and feel that the fans will be pleased in the end.”

In addition, TFC Welterweight Champion Ryan Ford recently completed his contract with The Fight Club, and has signed a new contract with Maximum Fighting Championships.

Regarding this change, Sinclair states “I want to wish Ryan Ford the best of luck with his new deal with the MFC. I am obviously disappointed, as I thought we had come to an agreement with Ryan on a new contract and an exciting vision for his future. However he has chosen another path.”

With Ford’s defection, the TFC Welterweight title will be declared vacant. Plans are currently in motion to come to a decision on determining a new champion.
