"The Human Cock Fighter" Brian Imes getting his hands wrapped. It's fightin' time again!

204 pounds.  That is a number I haven’t seen in a long time.  I am three weeks into my training camp for a June 25th Middleweight Title Fight for True Fight Fan in Grain Valley, Missouri.

My opponent that night will be Gary Tapusoa, a native of the island of Somoa.  Gary is 2-1 as a professional mixed martial artist after going 7-0 as an amateur.

My camp is going great with the help of my coaches, Ethan Benda and Eric Siley.  We are using a new facility in North Kansas City on Vivion Road.

Premier Martial Arts & Fitness will open June 3rd offering classes for children and adults.  The new facility means a larger fresher work environment for us and our team.

Two up and coming amateurs are training for fights on June 12th in Clinton, Missouri.  Todd Brooker, the 145 lb. West Central Missouri Champion, will defend his belt that night.  A.J. Fronce, who is 3-1, will also be in action that night.

Traveling to Chiles Martial Arts in Clinton is always a great time.  Up to 700 people cram into a steel warehouse to watch amateur and professional fights.  The owner, Jeb Chiles, a professional fighter and one time opponent of mine, is an excellent host and true ambassador of mixed martial arts.  Myself, my teammates, and Hillbilly Fight Wear are always well received.

June 17th will bring the second installment of Bellator Fighting Championships to the Kansas City Power & Light District.  I will be contributing to the promotion side of the event once again.

The first show in April was a great success and I am sure that this show will be even better.  It is the coolest setting I have ever seen for a mixed martial arts event.  If you don’t live in K.C., then check it out of FoxSportsNet.  Bellator airs every Thursday.

June will definitely be a busy month for the Human Cock Fighter.  I am promoting, training, coaching, and as always;  sellin’ Hillbilly Fight Wear.  Stay tuned to ProMMANow for results or follow my blog at  http://www.brianimes.com/mma-blog

This title fight will be my first contest at 185 pounds.  I am cleaner, faster and stronger than ever.  Like never before in my life I can feel my potential.  I absolutely love what I am doing with my life and look forward to every training session.  The sweat and pain is well worth the feeling of accomplishment.  No price is too great for the glory!
