Continuing with his “UFC 114: Rampage vs. Evans” media blitz, UFC President Dana White appeared on ESPN’s The B.S. Report with Bill Simmons earlier today.

There are some good nuggets in here, and as usual some things that may make you shake your head. It’s a 40:00 in-depth interview with “the man” and it’s definitely worth a listen.

Just a few of the subjects covered in this interview:

– Talking about Fedor being on the pound-for-pound list or the top heavyweight, White says, “Where this stuff comes from is these goofy MMA sites.”

-“It’s insane” to put Fedor on the pound-for-pound list

-White agrees with almost all of Sherdog’s pound-for-pound best except Jake Shields and Fedor Emelianenko (coincidently the two fighters not in his organization)

-White says these websites either don’t know what pound-for-pound means or they’re being paid by the organizations

-Stephan Bonnar is a victim of bad luck

-boxing

-New video game release

  1. Always enjoy listening to Dana but the guy interviewing him was dead-weight. Mispronounced fighter names etc. did nothing to help his credibility.
