WORCESTER, Mass. – 6′ ft. 8″ in. former UFC Heavyweight Champion Tim Sylvia weighed in at a whopping 305 lbs. for his fight tonight against five-time World’s Strongest Man champion Mariusz Pudzianowski.

Pudzianowski who is 6′ ft. 1″ in. tall weighed in at 273 lbs. The Polish strong man will have a size, height, and reach disadvantage, but he definitely will not have a strength disadvantage.

The fact that Sylvia is coming in so heavy will certainly bring back images of the bloated beefcake we saw fight Ray Mercer last year. And we all know what happened in that fight. At least Sylvia shaved his chest hair for this one.

“Moosin: God of Martial Arts” will take place at the DCU Center in Worcester and is the first-ever major pay-per-view MMA card in Massachusetts history. The cost of the pay-per-view is $29.95 and the broadcast begins at 9:00 p.m. ET/6:00 p.m. PT.

As with all major professional mixed martial arts events, ProMMAnow.com will provide live results and play-by-play commentary. That is why we are the original Pro MMA!
