ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Strikeforce CEO Scott Coker talks about how impressed he was with Alistair Overeem and how easily he handled Brett Rogers at “Strikeforce: Heavy Artillery” Saturday night. Coker is confident they can put together an Overeem vs. Fedor Emelianenko fight if Fedor is able to get past Fabricio Werdum in June.

Coker can’t guarantee a Fedor vs. Overeem fight, mainly due to M-1, Fedor’s management. They have not been entirely easy to work with. Coker does however guarantee that Overeem will fight again in Strikeforce this year and they have a direct contract with him.

Coker goes on to talk about the future of “Heavy Artillery” fighters Roger Gracie and Andrei Arlovski, saying both of them will be back. He also discusses possible future fights for Antwain Britt and Jacare, and shares his thoughts on Jake Shields’ appearance on a recent UFC broadcast.
