SACRAMENTO, Calif. – Following “WEC 48: Aldo vs. Faber” Saturday night at ARCO Arena, UFC President Dana White gives his thoughts on the night’s fights and is visibly pleased with World Extreme Cagefighting’s first foray into the pay-per-view market.

White says Jose Aldo is now ranked higher than Fedor Emelianenko on MMA’s pound-for-pound list. And White calls the Leonard Garcia vs. Chang Sung Jung fight one of the best fights he’s ever seen, and labels it the WEC’s version of “Bonnar vs. Griffin”, but “even better.”

White believes the Jung vs. Garcia fight had a big impact on the pay-per-view buys. He also says because Jose Aldo is one of the top pound-for-pound fighters, there’s a good chance we could see him fight at lightweight in the UFC.
