UFC President Dana White is confident the “WEC 48: Aldo vs. Faber” pay-per-view will do more than 150,000 buys, and discusses his personal need for some good fights after the Anderson Silva debacle at UFC 112.

White talks about his love for Jose Aldo, and talks about a “strategy” of not using the WEC logo at the “Aldo vs. Faber” press-conference.

White also explains the harm the Strikeforce brawl could cause as he and Zuffa move forward with trying to get MMA sanctioned in New York and other areas.

White asks, “Do you think Showtime, CBS, or Strikeforce for that matter, are spending any money trying to get New York done? Do you think they care if Ontario ever opens?”

White insists his opponents do not care, and they do not and will not be spending money trying to help grow the sport. He also says CBS blew their chance with the UFC, and he would not make a deal with them now no matter what.
