As we reported earlier today, Thiago Alves (22-5, 9-3 UFC) was pulled from his UFC 111 fight against Jon Fitch due to some brain irregularities on his CAT Scan. In this interview with Silva, he discusses the situation.

Silva says he has had problems in the past with the New Jersey commission and he is not worried about the tests or that something may be wrong with him. He is only upset that he is not able to fight after putting in so much hard work.

The UFC has told him to stay in shape because they want to get him back in there as soon as possible, once he is medically cleared. Right now all he can do is wait for the test results to come back so they can then visit a specialist.
