LAS VEGAS, Nev. – The Ultimate Fighting Championship, in cooperation with Grapplers Quest, will host a grappling tournament in conjunction with the UFC Fan Expo for the second year in a row.

The competition will be held on Friday and Saturday, May 28-29, at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nev. Thousands of dollars in prizes will be awarded across a variety of divisions and weight brackets, giving men, women, and children of all skill levels the opportunity to compete in front of the thousands of spectators attending the UFC Fan Expo.

UFC President Dana White commented on the upcoming event:

“We are excited to have another grappling tournament as part of our UFC Fan Expo. Last year’s event was huge, and we expect an even bigger and better turnout this year, bringing some of the best new grapplers from all over the country to Las Vegas.”

In addition to the grappling competition, the UFC Fan Expo will include such activities as meet and greets with legendary UFC, PRIDE, and WEC fighters, MMA demonstrations, fan-inspired special events, training seminars, entertainment, and much more.
