Strikeforce held an open workout for the media at Legends MMA Training Center in Hollywood, Calif. on Wednesday with Jake Shields, Dan Henderson, Muhammed “King Mo” Lawal, Gegard Mousasi, Shinya Aoki, and Gilbert Melendez. FIGHT! Magazine caught up with a few of the guys to get their thoughts on their April 17 bouts which will be held at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tenn. and will air live on CBS.

Scott Coker discusses a number of topics including his thoughts on the UFC and counter-programming. It’s interesting to know the Strikeforce CEO purchases several UFC pay-per-views a year, and plans to have a viewing party at his house when GSP fights Hardy on March 27.
