This is one fight that isn’t going to the ground. Big heavyweight strikers Cheick Kongo (14-6-1, 7-4 UFC) and Paul “The Headhunter” Buentello (27-11, 3-2 UFC) will face off at “UFC on Versus” on March 21 in Broomfield, Colo.
Both fighters will be hungry for a win in this one. After going on a three-fight win streak, Kongo has lost his last two bouts, first to Cain Velasquez at UFC 99, and then Frank Mir at UFC 107.
Buentello is also coming off a loss, having won back-to-back bouts before losing to Stefan Struve at UFC 107. Don’t blink when these two big boys step in the Octagon.
