Daniel "Ninja" Roberts

UFC newcomer Daniel “Ninja” Roberts (9-0) will replace the injured Anthony “Rumble” Johnson to fight John “Doomsday” Howard (13-4) at “UFC on Versus 1,” set for March 21 at the 1stBank Center in Broomfield, Col. Pro MMA Now (www.prommanow.com) broke the news yesterday that Johnson would have to pull out due to injury, and was notified of his replacement earlier today from Aaron Richman of The MMA Fight Council who spoke to Howard’s manager.

Roberts last fought on the 5150/XFL “New Year’s Revolution” card in January where he defeated Anthony Macias in the first round due to punches. Roberts, who makes his home in Tulsa, Okla., is 29-years-old and has a background in wrestling and jiu-jitsu. He is undefeated at 9-0, with seven wins via submission, and two decisions.

  1. This kid wrestled at Neosho Junior College in Kansas. We fought on the same card in Tulsa january 16th. He looked very composed against a veteran. Good luck Daniel.
