On their official website Showtime posted several match ups for Strikeforce Challengers VI. Headlining the card is a middleweight contest between former MFC champion Trevor Prangley and Karl Amoussou. The card will take place on Feb. 26 at the San Jose Civic Auditorium in San Jose, Calif.

Prangley recently signed to fight Robbie Lawler. However, prior to the fight he was forced to withdraw due to an injury. The UFC veteran is currently riding a five-fight winning streak. His last loss came at the hands of Jorge Santiago in the finals Strikeforce’s one-night middleweight tournament in 2007.

Overall in MMA the South African is 22-5. He holds notable victories over Travis Lutter, Chael Sonnen and Falaniko Vitale.

Amoussou rose to prominence in MMA while fighting in M-1. The French fighter put together a 6-2 record in the promotion. In his most recent outing he submitted John Doyle in the first round at M-1 Global Breakthrough.

Several other fights were posted by Showtime. Fast rising 135-pound prospect Sarah Kaufman will fight Takayo Hashi. Former Iowa wrestler Paul Bradley will square off against AKA’s Luke Rockhold.
