Shark Fights Promotions have announced that the recently released MFC light heavyweight champion, Trevor Prangley, has agreed to fight for their organization.

As many may recall, Prangley was stripped of his belt and released from the MFC for violating an exclusivity clause in his contract.

According to the latest Twitter update from Shark Fights, his agreeing to fight for their light heavyweight title was the cause of the firing from the MFC.  “MFC cuts and strips Trevor Prangley of his title and contract for fighting for the belt for Shark Fight Promotions, their loss, our gain” is what Brent Medley, Shark Fights matchmaker, tweeted.

Trevor Prangley holds a professional MMA record of 21-5 and is riding a four fight win streak. His most recent fight, which was part of the cause for his release from MFC, was a twenty second knockout victory over Dennis Reed at Arena Rumble.

An opponent for Prangley’s Shark Fights title match has not been announced. PROMMA.INFO will keep the readers updated as this information unfolds.
