Brad Imes is the only MMA heavyweight fighter in the world who has won back-to-back fights via gogoplata.

My bro started out in the WEC when they used to fight in Lemoore, California. He had the bloodiest fight ever with Mike Dexter. FIGHT! magazine had a write up on it. Love my brother.

That guy finished five professional fights by triangle choke and two by gogoplata. Damn! He was full service entertainment when he was at the top of his game. Brad Imes is my favorite fighter. He introduced me to the sport, and I can’t thank him enough for that.

Mixed martial arts has saved my life. About a year and a half ago I was in a bad place mentally and physically. I am so excited to see where my body can take me with a clear head and heart. The amount of dedication that it takes to be a professional fighter is unimaginable to the average mind.

Fighters are very special people that should be adored by all in the community. How is it that we have come to a place in our culture where the men who put themselves on the line for others are seen as barbaric.

I am so proud of my neighbors for embracing mixed martial arts into the mainstream community. Heroes do not belong underground. I pray that what makes the sport beautiful is not corrupted like so many others are.

I respect Dana White because I agree with the direction he pursues. He is a great leader for the integrity of the game. Business leaders around the globe should admire the autonomous existence of The Ultimate Fighting Championship.

How much better would the world be if the cage were the courtroom? Most people would only go in once. Inside that cage is the law, and that law hurts.

It seems that in today’s culture or “society” people can get away with just about anything. Every time they create a law it is an exception to THE RULE. It doesn’t take very many rules to run a “community.” Why does it take so many exceptions to run a “society?”

Well, enough about politics. The greatest thing about fighting is that 98% of fighters do it virtually for free. By the time you add up the training fees, travel, healthy diet, frequent meals, and medical bills (most of us believe it or not are uninsured), you are lucky to break even and not piss off your lady.

But that is what makes fighters great. They are a community of selfless entertainers. They destroy their bodies for the glory of entertaining their neighbors.

Passion is what has been lost. People have got to get their individual passion back. This society crap has taken away our individual identities. So what if I like to get punched on a Saturday night. I did it for your entertainment. Order a beer and watch the show.
