PROMMA.INFO received the following notification from the camp of Alex Emelyanenko this morning.

THE FIGHT IN KOREA IS CALLED OFF!

Alex Emelyanenko officially says that he will not take part in fight against Blagoy Ivanov. The fight would have taken place in Seoul (South Korea) on the 29th of September.

In spite of unofficial information that Blagoy has injured both hands Alex still hasn’t got any official confirmation from event organizers. Korean organization hasn’t given any information about opponent substitution and new candidates for this fight. Also there is no exact date of the event. After first championship lap the Organization hasn’t made a statement about date and conditions of next lap. In this connection Alex Emelyanenko decides to make official statement that he will not take part in the championship in Korea. Insufficient level of tournament organizing, unwillingness carrying on constructive negotiation about opponent substitution doesn’t make it possible to take part in this event

Now Alex is able to accept any new offers and negotiates with several organizations about participation in their tournaments. He is in a perfect fit. So you will see him on the ring very soon.

Be sure to check out PROMMA.INFO’s exclusive interview with Alex Emelyanenko.
