Michael Bisping did finally wake up and he appears to be fine. I know that made a lot of people happy. Personally I like Bisping OK but I did pick Hendo to win.

Fitch said after the fight it did affect him some thinking he was going to fight about an hour previously to when his fight actually happened. As usual about keeping people in the dark about things that go on, viewers are never told why we are watching the Fitch vs. Thiago fight AFTER the main event.  Oh well, at least we got to see it. Now we just need to go find that Bonnar vs. Coleman fight!

Here we go folks. The superhuman hammerhead Brock Lesnar will try and get revenge against Frank Mir. So many questions… so many possibilities… I just hope someone doesn’t die in this cage tonight. These guys DO NOT LIKE EACH OTHER. Let’s see if Buffer busts out the 360!

Herb Dean is itching to stand them up it seems, which is kind of messed up since this is Brock’s bread and butter.
Round 2 –Brock gets the takedown. Herb Dean warning him already. No need Herb, Brock starts pounding. Frank Mir turns his bloody head to the side to try to avoid punches but Lesnar is pounding and pounding with huge shots to the face. Brock Lesnar defeats Frank Mir by knockout 1:48 in round 2.

Brock Lesnar was hilarious on the microphone after the fight. While much of the crowd booed, he said, keep it coming and he loved it. He then said he’s gonna go home a drink a Coors lite cause Bud Lite won’t pay him and then he said he might even get on top of his wife tonight.

For some reason I’m sure we will find out later, Jon Fitch and Paulo Thiago are fighting AFTER Lesnar vs. Mir. For some reason their fight was postponed until the last fight of the night.

Submission of the night goes to Tom Lawlor with an arm in guillotine over CB Dollaway.
The turning point of the night and undoubtedly the knockout of the night was Dan Henderson’s KO of Michael Bisping.

  1. I’m sure you know this but the Fitch-Thiago fight is due to TV time. I guess they were running over on time and didn’t want to risk the main event running over. I know they can’t predict which fights will go the distance but the UFC seems to always have this problem.
