“Call to Arms I” will take place at the Citizens Business Bank Arena in Ontario, California on May 16th. Headlining the show will be Vladimir Matyushenko facing Jason Lambert in the main event, and Brian Warren versus Tiki Ghosn as the co-main event.
Matyushenko (21-4) will be looking to get back on the winning track as he was on an eight fight win streak until he suffered a loss to Antonio Rogerio Nogueira back in January at “Affliction: Day of Reckoning.”
A veteran of the UFC, Jason Lambert (23-9) is looking to break a string of losses after dropping his last three bouts in the Octagon, before parting ways with the UFC.
In addition to the co-main event of Tiki Ghosn (10-7) and Brian Warren (11-12-1), Matt Major (4-1) will be returning to action following his unanimous decision victory over “Mr. International” Shonie Carter (47-18-7) in August 2008. Major will be facing off against Jaime Fletcher (8-4), and has been training at the Nor Cal FIGHT FACTORY in San Jose, CA, and can be seen training in Paul Buentello’s video below:
