PRO MMA (promma.info) would like to give you, the reader, the opportunity to interact with some of the professional MMA fighters that we have the privilege of speaking with on a regular basis. Instead of just us always asking the questions, we thought it would be a good idea to let you, the MMA fans, ask the questions you want to hear since you are the people we do this for in the first place. Make sense? We thought so.
First up is Zak Cummings. He is a 9-0 pro fighter out of Springfield, Missouri. He has notable wins over Victor Moreno (25-13) and most recently, Terry Martin (18-7). Zak defeated Martin by decision on February 14, 2009 at XCF: Rumble in Race Town in Daytona, Florida.
Zak has held both, the Midwest Fight League and Xtreme Cagefighting Federations Middleweight Titles. He is also an Arnold Classic grappling gold medalist.
Next up, we have Frank Shamrock. Our guys Eddie and Matt will be visiting Frank at his gym on Wednesday and they would love to take your questions to ask “The Legend.” Frank, of course, is the adopted brother of Ken Shamrock and has been fighting professionally for fifteen years (with a couple years break here and there).
Frank has notable wins over such fighters as Bas Rutten, Jeremy Horn, Tito Ortiz, Phil Baroni, Cesar Gracie, and many more. His last bout was in March 2008 when suffered a broken arm in the third round against Cung Le and lost the Strikeforce Middleweight Title. Frank’s next fight will be a main event match against Nick Diaz on April 11 in Strikeforce and the event will air live on Showtime.
