Versus.com broke the news that Guida (17-19), who is best known as the brother of UFC lightweight contender Clay Guida (25-9 MMA, 5-3 UFC), and as the guy that got dismissed from his shot at being on “The Ultimate Fighter” Season 8 after failing to make weight.

Bobby Lashley (1-0) has very limited MMA experience, but will have a significant weight and strength advantage over Guida. Guida is coming in on a 3 fight losing streak, and hopes to last longer than Lashley’s last opponent in his MMA debut, who was finished in a mere 41 seconds.

“March Badness” is a hybrid boxing/MMA show being promoted by Jones’ company, Square Ring Promotions. Jones will headline the main event with his return to the boxing ring facing Omar Sheika. The event will also feature an MMA bout between Roy “Big Country” Nelson and Jeff “The Snowman” Monson.
