UFC President Dana White confirmed to Setanta Sports on Friday that Georges St. Pierre will defend his welterweight title against Thiago Alves at UFC 100 on July 11th at the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino in Las Vegas. White also confirmed that the coaches for The Ultimate Fighter 9, Michael Bisping and Dan Henderson, will be fighting at UFC 100 as well.
Bisping and Henderson are currently filming The Ultimate Fighter 9. At UFC 100 they will be keeping the Ultimate Fighter tradition of the coaches fighting at the culmination of the season. Their fight will take place in the middleweight division.
UFC 100 will make the third time St. Pierre defends his title since becoming the undisputed champion when he avenged his loss to Matt Serra at UFC 83.
