Pat “Bam Bam” Healy and Ryan “The Real Deal” Ford took the entire five rounds to determine who would be walking out of the ring as the MFC Welterweight Champion. The rematch was a back and forth battle the entire fight with both fighters using outstanding wrestling and take downs throughout the fight. In the end, Healy edged out Ford in a split decision victory to remain the MFC Welterweight Champion inside a sold-out River Cree Resort and Casino and live on HDNet Fights.

In the Welterweight superfight, Paul “Semtex” Daley was feeling the effects of his weight cutting, as he struggled with conditioning in this fight against Nick “The Goat” Thompson. At times Daley was hesitant to stand and throw, and Thompson took advantage of his height and reach establishing a nice stiff jab early in the fight.

Once the fight hit the ground late in the 3rd round, Thompson used his superior grappling to retain control and land some shots from the top as the fight ended. The fight went to the judges, and Thompson was awarded the unanimous decision victory, and number one contender status at 170.

In the first ever Lightweight Championship bout for the MFC, Antonio McKee used his superior take down and wrestling skills to keep Derrick Noble off balance for most of the fight. Noble did manage to land a glancing kick to the head that hurt McKee in the first round, but did not follow up to try to end the fight.

Noble was tentative on his feet most of the fight, as McKee mixed up kicks and take downs, keeping Noble guessing on what was coming. By the end of the third round, McKee didn’t even need to set up his take down attempts, and earned single leg takedowns on multiple occasions to control the later rounds, earning himself the MFC LightWeight Championship belt via unanimous decision.

In other action, former MFC Light Heavyweight champion, Roger “The Hulk” Hollett was finished in the first round by UFC veteran David Heath by guillotine. The former champ has now dropped 2 of his last 3 bouts.
