For anyone who thought it was too early for the twenty-eight year-old Jason “Mayhem” Miller (21-6) to hang up his gloves, you were not alone. Miller has kept a low profile as of late after rumors of retirement surrounded the former Icon Champ.

Miller will emerge from the shadows to fight Kala “Kolohe” Hose (7-2) on a Kingdom MMA card in Hawaii with a speculated date of either March 28 or 29th. Kingdom MMA is a new promotion founded by former Icon Sport president, T. Jay Thompson.

Hose was due to fight UFC and TUF veteran, Kalib Starnes back in November of 2008, but pulled out at the last minute due to contractual issues. Hose’s last fight was a second round TKO victory over Rolando Dominique in August, 2008, at Icon Sports, Hard Times.

Miller has been out of action since June of 2008 when he gave up a unanimous decision victory to Ronaldo Souza at the Dream 4 Middleweight Grand Prix Quarterfinals in Japan. Hose will definitely have his hands full with Miller and the argument could easily be made this will be the toughest test Hose has faced to date.
