M-1 Global is now stating that a definite date has been set for the M-1 Challenge 2008 Finals:

The definitive date and time of the M-1 Challenge 2008 Finals have been set. On January, 11th in Amstelveen which is located just several minutes to the north of Amsterdam, the long-anticipated finals will be held. Special Sports Centrum will host the event and Team Holland will clash with Russia’s Red Devil for the main trophy of the inaugural M-1 Challenge season. 

The M-1 Challenge Finals were originally scheduled to be held in Seattle, Washington on December 26, 2008 but had to be rescheduled due to inclement weather conditions.

Despite losing the M-1 Challenge finals, M-1 officials have already finalized plans to hold an M-1 Challenge regular season event in 2009 at the Emerald Queen Hotel and Casino in Seattle. The event will take place on February 21 and will serve as the official 2009 regular season opener with six teams on display.
