Everybody from the casual fan to the MMA hardcore has either heard about or seen what took place in Corey Hill’s fight last Wednesday during the “Fight for the Troops” event held by the UFC.

Corey recently underwent successful surgery on his broken leg, and is now facing a long road to recovery and may be out of action for up to 18 months.  His team at Gracie Tampa has set up a fund to help he and his family during this difficult time.

Corey is married and has three children and while the UFC is rumored to be covering his medical bills and rehab, he will be out of work for an extended amount of time. Visit the Gracie Tampa site to make a donation during this holiday season.  This is a good cause, and a great opportunity to support the MMA community.  This is the season of giving so let’s do what we can to help Corey and his family.
