Dan “the Upgrade” Lauzon, brother of TUF veteran and UFC lightweight contender, Joe Lauzon, fought in the main event at World Championship Fighting’s WCF 5 on November 14, 2008 at the Aleppo Shriners Auditorium in Wilmington, Massachusetts.

Lauzon was able to put together his seventh straight victory and he did it in just 45 seconds into the first round with a TKO over Justin Hammertrum. The loss for Hammertrum drops his record below.500.

Dan Lauzon is still the youngest fighter ever to appear on a UFC card. He was only 18 when he faced Spencer Fisher back at UFC 64 in 2006.

Lauzon will get a considerable “upgrade” in competition in his next bout when he faces former IFL standout, Chris Horodecki on the January 24 Affliction card in Anaheim, California.
