UFC lightweight fighter, Hermes Franca was arrested early this morning in Jupiter, Florida on D.U.I. charges.
Earliar in the evening he had attended the WEC: Faber vs. Brown event and it is speculated Franca may have been at one of the fighter’s after-parties.
This is reportedly his first offense and there was no vehicle accident and no injuries so that is the positive side to the story.
Franca was released later this morning under his own recognizance.
Franca was last seen in the cage at UFC 90 on Oct. 25, 2008 where he defeated Marcus Aurelio by unanimous decision.
