Kimbo Slice on ESPN’s “Pardon the Interruption”

Here is a new interview with Kimbo Slice on ESPN’s Pardon the Interruption. It’s a good interview but coming from a sports organization you may expect a bit more of an informed interviewer but other than that it’s pretty cool. I’m riding the Kimbo train as far as it will go. I think he is bringing a lot of attention to the sport it would not otherwise receive. Kimbo is well-spoken, a great athelte, and all-in-all he represents the sport well for someone so new to the game. For whatever reason he gets more attention and publicity than pretty much any MMA veteran out there and for that many of MMA’s loyalists have some antagonism toward the former street fighter or at the very least think his publicity is undeserved. Regardless of your opinion on Kimbo, he is bringing a ton of hype to Mixed Martial Arts and getting more people interested in the sport.
