In Boston, Mass. on Sept 19th 2008, World Championship Fighting produced its fourth show in the past year. The night started off with a special autograph session including UFC Fighters: Marcus “the Irish Hand Grenade” Davis, Kenny “KenFlo” Florian, Joe “J-Lau” Lauzon, Dan “The Upgrade” Lauzon, WEC featherweight contender Josh “The Fluke” Grispi and Internet Legend Sean “The Gladiator” Gannon the only man to beat Kimbo Slice.

In the main event it was the return of UFC veteran and Ultimate Fighter Season 1 “favorite” Sam “The Alaskan Assassin” Hoger. It was a short night as Hoger quickly landed a kick to late replacement Jason Doloff’s face which stunned Doloff and allowed Hoger to follow up with a perfect shot that sent Doloff to the canvas. The referee stepped in and stopped the fight giving Hoger a TKO win in round one. This was Hoger’s first fight in over sixteen months and it was great showing for him.
