    Jesse Taylor vs. CB Dolloway

Rd.1-
Jesse shoots in immediately for a takedown but is stuffed by CB. Both fighters clinch against the fence. Good dirty boxing by Jesse, and CB responds with a nice knee. Jesse has a left underhook, but CB uses his right arm and secures a nice whizzer and goes for the throw. Jesse ends up on top, then they are back on their feet. Jesse changes levels for a takedown but is stuffed again. While Jesse has both knees on the ground, he is kneed in the face illegally!! CB gets a warning from the ref, and Jesse takes hardly anytime and decides to continue. The fighters clinch again, then both men go to the floor and CB gets full mount and has Jesse in trouble. Jesse turns and CB gets his back and goes for the RNC! Jesse turns into CB and reverses, then they are back on their feet. Good action so far. They clinch again, CB secures a headlock and pulls guard trying to get the guillotine. Jesse gets out and starts GNP’ing CB pretty good. Jesse makes a mistake by backing off giving CB a chance to recover. CB then gets to Jesse’s side while he is turtled up, and it looks like he’s going for the back again. NO! CB steps over and goes for the Peruvian neck tie! He finishes, Jesse taps. CB Dollaway by Sub in Round 1.

    Anthony Johnson vs. Kevin Burns

Rd.1-
Leg kicks by both, clinch with both throwing knees. Burns with a big right, both throwing bombs. Burns really pushing the pace. Johnson throwing kicks, connects in the groin of Burns. Back to action after pause, with both throwing. It looks like Johnson took a finger in the eye and is squinting. Burns rushes him, and Johnson changes levels and gets a big takedown. Strong guard by Burns. Not much action after some back and forth action, the ref stands them up. Johnson finishing strong with some big shots but Burns keeps coming forward. End of Round 1.

Rd. 2
Burns gets warned for his fingers being extended. Johnson still blinking from what appeared to be eye pokes. Big high kick by Burns. Johnson shoots and gets another takedown. Not much action on the ground and they are stood back up. They circle and Johnson gets another takedown right at the bell. Endo of Round 2.

Rd. 3
Burns back on his back again, not much action on the ground. They are stood back up and Johnson lands a good left body kick followed by a right. Burns responds with a huge uppercut but his fingers are extended again. Johnson yells out in pain from the poke in the eye and he drops and rolls onto his stomach. Burns hesitates then jumps on him, but the ref stops him and checks on Johnson. The fight has been stopped for the moment…. The fight is stopped! TKO win for Burns. Johnson is very classy in defeat despite the eye pokes.

    Jake O’Brien vs. Cain Velasquez

Rd.1-
Cain gets dominant side control on O’Brien. He traps Jake’s left arm between his legs, secures his right arm and starts dropping big shots on O’Brien’s face. Jake has no way to defend himself with both arms trapped but is still moving and defending the best he can. Cain dropping huge bombs on O’Brien!! The ref looks close to stopping it, but Jake is still trying to work himself out. Cain continues to pepper Jake with shots, and the fight is stopped! Cain by ref stoppage TKO in Round 1.

    Hermes Franca vs. Frankie Edgar

Rd.1-
Nice kick by Franca, he slips and Frankie is in his guard. Hermes is very active from the bottom. Frankie stands, gets ankle control and throws some shots. Hermes is not taking much damage and is being really patient. Frankie slips in for some short elbows and punches. Franca explodes and transitions to an armbar attempt. Good sub defense and Edgar is out. Franca throws a good upkick and gets to his feet. He then catches Frankie with a good knee to the mid section, but is taken down. Nice elbows by Edgar to the left eye of Franca. His eye is really swollen from the short elbows. End of round 1.

Rd. 2
Hermes is on his back again. Much like most of Rd. 1. Nice upkick by Hermes, then Edgar falls back into Franca’s full guard. Nice elbows again by Frankie. Hermes rolls and turtles up, Frankie with good rights from the rear of Hermes. Franca rolls back into full guard. Frankie stands for some more strikes, but gives Hermes room to stand. Nice high kick by Edgar but it is blocked, Frankie shoots again and secures another takedown. End of Round 2.

Rd. 3
Frankie with another takedown, Hermes on his back again. Hermes looks desperate and is scrambling for a sub attempt going for an omoplata, but Frankie is too quick. They are standing again, and Frankie gets a front headlock, then takes Hermes down again. Edgar is completely dominating the pace and the fight overall. Hermes on his back goes for a sweep, and during the scramble Edgar ends up on top again. Back to their feet. Hermes puts together a nice 4 punch combo that backs Edgar up, and connects with a huge knee!!! Edgar is cut and shoots blindly for a takedown and gets it. The round ends with Frankie on top and bleeding pretty bad. Edgar gets the UD win.

    Brandon Vera vs. Reese Andy

Rd.1-
Big kick by Vera, Reese drops for the takedown. Vera scrambles to his feet and looks really relaxed. Verag gets the Thai clinch and throws a big knee. Vera goes up top but Reese ducks the kick. Vera then connects with a low kick that taks Reese down but he is up quickly. Vera stuffs another takedown. Good knee to the face by Vera and then he takes Reese down and ends up in side control. Not much action from side control, and Vera throws one good knee to the downed Reese. End of Round 1.

Rd. 2
Vera is switching stances regularly and secures another takedown/throw. Andy turtles and Vera partially has one hook in, but Reese turns and grabs a single and scrambles to his feet. Reese fakes a takedown and connects with a nice right flush to Vera’s chin. Vera looks tentative. End of round 2.

Rd. 3
Reese is more aggresive, random knees by Vera. Vera not doing much of anything and looks like he is just waiting to counter. He once again gets a strong clinch and a nice knee. Reese shoots again but is stuffed. Disappointing performance by Vera, but he may have done enough for the win.

Result- Vera, win by UD.

MAIN EVENT

    Anderson Silva vs. James Irvin

Rd.1-
Anderson Silva respectful as always with a bow after they receive directions from the referee. They start by feeling each other out and Anderson throws a couple of crisp low kicks. They square up and Irvin throws a right leg kick that Silva catches and holds. Silva throws a huge right that connects dropping Irvin immediately!!! Silva pounces and pounds Irvin out until the ref stops the fight. Huge statement by Anderson Silva as he totally annihilates James Irvin in the first round!!
