I have just gotten word from our on-location reporter, TruPlya, that Aleksander Emelianenko will not be fighting on the Affliction card scheduled for tomorrow night in Anaheim.   Aleksander was scheduled to face Paul Buentello in a much-anticipated Heavyweight bout.  All we know at this time as that he was not cleared by the CSAC due to his medicals.  All fighters must pass a medical exam prior to their fight showing they are physically able and healthy enough to participate in a professional mixed martial arts match.  For some reason, Aleksander was not cleared.  We will bring you the updates as soon as we get more information on Aleksander.  Sherdog is reporting that he did not meet his licensing requirements and that is the reason he is off the card.  Whatever the EXACT reason is, it seems the CASC are the ones who have pulled the plug on his fight.  This is terrible news for fans of the Russian who were really looking forward to this fight.
