According to the Xtreme Couture Blog, Rob Kimmons, the head instructor at the Xtreme Couture gym in Kansas City has just signed a deal with the UFC. In July of 2007, Kimmons had a war with Marvin Eastman that went the five-round distance. And although Kimmons lost the decision in that well-fought battle, he has put together three straight wins since then. His overall record is an impressive 20-3. He has fought in numerous organizations including Shooto and Hook n’ Shoot.

With Marvin Eastman and Joe Riggs being two of his three losses, you know the guy must be tough. A fight date or opponent for him within the UFC is not yet known. Kimmons seems to be well-respected for his ju-jitsu but as you will see from these videos, his striking seems to be pretty dangerous as well. We here at Pro MMA wish Rob Kimmons the best of luck as he tries to make his mark within the UFC.
