If you live in Las Vegas or will be there on June 20 and are an MMA and/or boxing fan, you are in for a real treat. When’s the last time you got to go to a FREE MMA or boxing event that actually had some big names on the card? Well that’s just what you get if you go to the Thomas and Mack Center on June 20 for ESPN’s FRIDAY NIGHT FIGHTS.  This is a fairly significant event considering the event will be an ESPN sponsored boxing event combined with mixed martial arts fights on the same card.  That’s pretty cool because it will give fans of both sports a chance to see some relatively quality action.  Anytime these two great sports can do something to build relations instead of always arguing which sport is better is a good thing as far as I’m concerned.  John Alessio will fight Pete Spratt in the MMA Main Event. Kim Couture, Randy’s wife, will also be on the card fighting in her Professional MMA debut. Dennis Davis, Team Quest’s Dave Jansen, Brice Ritani-Coe, and Kui Gonsalves-Kanoho of Hawaii will all be fighting at the event.
